Regarding the “about me” tag on this…

It would make a huge difference, my dear. The world would be lacking a beautiful soul, just for a start, and I personally refuse to live in a world that doesn’t have you in it. I’ve learned so much from knowing you, & you’ve altered my worldview immensely; I know it’s really hokey, but I can’t help it, that every time I read or watch anything about German Jews during the Holocaust, I still get instantly distressed & weepy now because I always think of you. You’ve personalized WWII for me far more than having a father who fought in it!

Besides, if it wasn’t for you, I never would have been introduced to the glories of Anton Walbrook—a possibility that is too terrible for words, just like the idea of life without you in it. {{inappropriately lengthy big squeezy hugs}}

So please, never think you don’t matter, because I can tell you for a fact that you do.

The same goes to anyone else who is reading this. Any assertion that you wouldn’t be missed, or that you don’t matter, is profoundly untrue.
